About Me

I am a licensed psychologist in private practice affiliated with the Center for Therapeutic Assessment in Austin, Texas. In my work life, I most enjoy building relationships with my clients. I also love teaching and education, and regularly attend and give presentations and workshops. I am currently an elected board member of the Society for Personality Assessment and serve on the website, webinar and workshop committee for the Therapeutic Assessment Institute. In a past career, I mostly focused on research and published several peer-reviewed papers related to personality, assessment, and social and emotional health.

I grew up in middle Tennessee with hot summers and high quality music, and after years of moving around for my education and career, I’ve found myself more than at home in Austin. I’m happiest outdoors and especially enjoy rock climbing, bike riding, paddle boarding, wandering walks, and quality time with my family, friends, and two dogs.
